I wanted to share my SendOutCards Presentation or Gift Account Walk Thru word for word. When I ask questions I try to ask questions that will answer YES to. So here we go!!!

Okay, I’m going to show you something pretty cool, or at least I think is pretty cool.

I’m going to have you go to my website.

You’re going to type this in the address bar in the top, okay?

Go ahead and type in www.sendoutcards.com/50233 That’s www.sendoutcards.com/50233 (I spell it out, go slow, plus say it twice)

Okay, you should see my ‘mug’ shot in the top right hand corner. Do you see my picture and name Mark and Nancy Nelson (I want to make sure they are on my website)

Great, At the bottom of the screen you should see where it says, ‘send a free card’ Do you see that?

Okay, great. I’d like for you to think of someone you want to send a card to, someone you know their address? Like a spouse, your mom, family member etc? Do you have someone in mind? (I memory job them, and I NEVER have them send a card to themselves because it has no emotional impact on the receiving end)

Great, go ahead and click on send a free card.

You should see something that comes up that says, Do you want Kody to help you send a free card. Click no, since I am here with you, but keep in mind he would do the same thing I would do if I wasn’t here with you.

Okay, now you are in the card catalog. We have 15,000 different cards to choose from, plus you could design your own if you wanted to.

Who are we going to send a card to?

Okay, go ahead and click on the appropriate category on the left.

Click on any card to enlarge to see it better if you like.

When you find a card there please let me know.

Okay, great you found a card, do you see where it says create a post card, 2 panel card, 3 panel card, even a big card? We’re going to click on the 2 panel card (I always have them choose the 2 panel greeting card because I can show them the gift function)

Go ahead and click on the 2 panel card option.

Okay, it should be loading and when it is done, do you see where it says click here to type your message?

Great, go ahead and type whatever personal message you want to send to this person.

Got it, great! If you want to highlight what you wrote you can change, the font size, the color, the style etc.

Do you see in the top left hand side where it says pictures. Do you take pictures? You can upload any pictures you want and also drag them into your card like the one I sent you. (if I did this, plus just on a side note 99% of the cards I send have pictures) (I don’t have them put in a picture, b/c it takes too long unless they want to and are good on the computer)

Okay now that you are done, go ahead and click on the bottom right where it says ‘continue’ (see how visual I am w/ my language, they don’t know where the buttons are on the website, it’s still new to them, help them out w/ your language)

Now the next screen should be what looks like the outside of an envelope.

Great, in the top left that is your return address. Go ahead and put that there.

Got it? Great, bottom middle that is where you recipient address goes where you are mailing it.

Now keep in mind you can import your address book if you like, if not you can add them manually or as you are sending out cards to people, it’s actually saving them and you’re building your contact list. In business it’s all about building your lists.

Okay, got that? Great, go ahead and click on the bottom right, ‘continue’

Now the next screen should be the ‘gift page’ correct? (you know this, but it get’s them to keep confirming)

Go ahead and click on the gift cards. ( I always have them do this, because it get’s so many oohs and ahs) I maybe show them some other gifts too like cookies etc.

Now we’re not going to send a gift, (oh shucks) so go and click on send without gift, bottom right

Now the next screen is going to ask you for your home number, email address and password twice. It’s already going to have a username in their so we’ll keep that, just enter in the rest, and click on continue.

Okay, great the next screen is our confirmation page. Pretty easy so far?

Okay, you’ll notice in the top right it says sending this card will take 2 points and $.45 from your expense account.

Let me explain the points, do you have a pen and piece of paper?

I’d like for you to write down 1 point = a post card, 2 points = a greeting card and 3 points = if you put in a picture in the card. The expense account pays for postage. If you send a card to New Jersey it’s going to cost you $.45 for postage (which is currently first class) if you send a card to Italy it’s the cost of postage. Make sense?

Okay, great, go ahead and click on ‘send card.’

Okay, what’s it’s say? (they say, your card is on it’s way

Wasn’t that cool? (most will say yes)

I want you to know what you just did. For most people the only mail they receive is bills, you just sent a greeting card out that is going to make some person’s day. Not that is cool!

(Now this is where I head to tell them their options) Here’s where you say, ….SO YOUR NEXT QUESTION is how much is this, or what does it cost?

(They say yes)

Okay, go back to where you wrote what the points represent.

Just like anything in life, you can buy retail or wholesale, right?

write down retail 20 points = $9.80
Wholesale or Preferred is 100 points = $31 (this is a 35% discount and how I buy my cards) (tell people this is what you do, because most people will do what you do)

Got it? Great….

Now let me ask you a question…. (This is KEY) Do you know of anyone who could use a service or a system like this? (they will say yes)

Okay, let me now explain the option I chose because I knew people who could use a system like this too.

Go ahead and write down MD =$295 It stands for Marketing Distributor. This package comes with 200 points, remember that website you where you sent  a free card? (they’ll say yes) You get your two websites to show people, you also get seminars that are taught all around the country, plus something called the DVD program, where SendOutCards inserts a promotional DVD in the card that describes the service for FREE.

Now for any retail customers you sign up you earn 30% and for any marketing distributors you sign up you will earn $100 for each.

What do you think? or how do you feel? (now if they want more info on the MD I would do the complete version of the napkin presentation found under downloads for you to print out and go through with them)

Can I make a suggestion? (they will say yes) why don’t we get you set up with the retail account or the preferred account? Do you want 20 points a month or 100 points?

Then sign them up…Get them signed up and tell them that you will arrange a time to schedule their training appointment and you’re excited to work with them. (Why I schedule the training call, is because what we just went over took some time and their brain is tired, respect it)

Follow up with a thank you card w/ a DVD. Hand them a Magazine. Invite them to talk to your sponsor etc/ keep on exposing them.
